Design

• Regular-sized perforated, solid and expanded mesh panels
• Façade design incorporates green living wall panels to reference hills and mountains in the distance
• Bespoke support structure for living wall panels, including ‘C’ channels to conceal irrigation and drainage pipes
• Maple liaised closely with architects, main contractors and specialist living wall supplier ANS Global

Manufacture

• Hole size of perforations calculated to balance panel strength with natural light and ventilation requirements
• Panels powder-coated in shades of white, grey and silver to complement the green wall
• More than 250 panels manufactured for the seven-storey car park
• Bespoke support structure fabricated in collaboration with the living wall supplier

Installation

• Maple’s specialist design, factory and installation teams managed the façade project from concept to completion
• Installation required close collaboration with the living wall supplier to ensure a seamless finish
• Living wall panels slot into the Maple framework
• Living wall enhances the 800-space car park’s environmental credentials
