Circular single blade externally resettable combination fire and volume control damper designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through circular ducts.
Application
For internal use in buildings:
- To be installed in circular ducted HVAC systems within fire boundaries.
- Suitable for use in dryline walls and masonry/concrete walls and floors and cavity barriers.
Description
The FD-C Series Mechanical Circular Fire Damper with volume control facility has been designed specifically for installations where space is limited. The testing and resetting of the damper and thermal fuse external of the duct allows for ease of commissioning and maintenance.
The installation plate features perforations and acts as a template to allow the marking of the fixing positions on the surface of the structure to which the plate will be affixed, allowing for a quick and efficient install. Available in stainless steel and galvanized steel, it comes in a range of different sizes to suit various applications.
