Application
The Gorter RHT standard roof hatch with ladder is suitable for installation on flat roofs with a maximum slope of 30° and can be used in a wide range of buildings, including offices, factories, apartment buildings, villas, shopping malls, hotels and public-sector facilities. It provides a safe and compliant solution for roof access and emergency escape, enabling routine maintenance, inspections, servicing of rooftop installations, roof terrace access and emergency egress.

Extension ladder
Depending on the floor height, the Gorter combination of roof hatch and ladder is available with a single, double or triple extension ladder. The Gorter ladder is supplied as standard with suspension brackets for safe storage when the ladder is not in use. This combination is ideal for infrequent use of the roof hatch. For more frequent use, we recommend a roof hatch with scissor stairs or fixed staircase.

The new generation RHT roof hatches with ladder feature an extremely strong and patented construction. Thanks to several modifications, the roof hatch is even more resistant against unexpected extreme loads, both during construction and in general use.
Proven insulation performance of the complete roof hatch
With the RHT roof hatch, the insulation value is calculated for the entire construction (Uw), not just the insulation material. This sets Gorter apart in the roof hatch market, where many suppliers only provide the PIR insulation value. The proven insulation performance of the complete hatch is Uw ≤ 0.276 W/(m²·K).

Safety Ladder Gorter
Type EL- single and OL - double or triple, depending on height - max 7395 mm.
- Ladder supplied in powder-coated aluminium.
- Two hooks on top to be hooked over a fixed step to safely enter and leave roof hatch. Hooks can be locked (padlock by others) to prevent ladder from misuse.
- Ladder can be stored in the 2 wall suspension brackets, 1 with padlock hasps (padlock by others).
- Step to be fixed (by others) into roof opening near access side
