Food Safe Passive Fire Protection for Insulation Contractor: Cold Clad Case Study.

Cryotherm Insulation Ltd

The brief:Cryotherm were contacted by a company specialising in all forms of temperature-controlled cladding and firewall projects to ask if we provide a passive fire protection solution for their large food processing plant customer. Following an initial discussion, we knew that our steel fire-rated casing system, Rockliner in a food safe finish would be the ideal solution for this project. The project:We worked closely with our client’s Architect and Design Team during the initial stages of the project, to help them understand the technical specifications of Rockliner, and provide guidance on the install method, particularly the product interface. This was extremely important due to the sheer size and complexity of the project, with a multitude of different column case lengths required. In preparation Cryotherm provided a detailed plan to deliver this project. This included buying sufficient stock to keep the costs as quoted and to avoid any price increases. We also created extra storage for completed products, which we held in stock until our client needed them. This meant that products were always available. We also planned expected overtime with our dedicated and flexible team, to meet our client’s site requirements and invested in additional machinery to improve factory production efficiencies. Finally, we pre-booked delivery slots to ensure products reached site on time.Senior members of staff from Cryotherm attended regular site visits to ensure the project was running to plan. Our experienced Team have over 150 years of combined knowledge and have worked on similar projects, so they understood the design, complex sizing and volume and were able to deliver quality products on time, every time and provide Cryotherm’s unrivalled service to meet our clients requirements. What our client’s say:“I can’t thank the whole Cryotherm Team enough for all the guidance, support and all-round help that they have provided me with and the products that were provided. Always only a phone call away, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. I am looking forward to continuing to work alongside Cryotherm now and in the future” Contracts ManagerLet us help:If you have a project that requires expert support and guidance and a guarantee that products will arrive safely and on time, speak to the team today.
