Application
Used to protect concrete surfaces on exterior facades and interior concrete surfaces with a protective action providing protection from water, weathering, peeling and blistering by silicification and protection from chlorides. Especially suitable for mineral surfaces, such as all types of plaster, renders, concrete, stone walls, limestone sandstone, etc. in all types of homes, schools, garages, kindergartens, public buildings, as well as for the care and restoration of monuments and historic buildings.
Description
Silicato is a mineral paint formulated using potassium silicate binder, pure inorganic fillers and natural earth oxides producing a lightfast, breathable and extremely durable mineral matt surface finish. Silicato is inherently compatible with concrete substrates and forms a strong permanent chemical bond between the paint and concrete surface.
Formulated according to EU/DIN specification18363. Resistant to blistering, mold formation, and dirt in industrial environments. Ideal for the protection and restoration of old monuments and historical buildings.
