Coach house tradition beautifully preserved in Belgravia mews house renovation

A bespoke up and over garage door designed and manufactured by Rundum Meir has brought 21st century functionality, access and security to a Grade II listed property in Belgravia.

One objective of the renovation project sought to improve access to the garage, which faces a desirable residential street close to Eaton Square Gardens.

The transformation had to be done in a way that was sympathetic to the local architecture and compliant with the house’s listed status. The garage doors of the properties lining this cobblestone street are fine examples of the 19th century coach house tradition.
