Archipelago house

OVERVIEW

This contemporary holiday home is located in the tranquil, unspoiled Swedish archipelago. Set into the cliff, the house is beautifully framed by the dramatic, rocky landscape and the deep blue sea. The wooden structure of the house was inspired by the local building traditions found in the boat houses of the archipelago.

The interior reflects the minimalist exterior, with furniture in light wood and a subtle colour palette. The L lever handle in charcoal from the Knud Holscher collection plays a reliable supporting role to a serene and calm interior. Project by Norm Architects and images by Jonas Bjerre Poulsen.
