Safeguarding the Future

DorSuite recently contributed to the creation of Easthouses Primary School, a modern learning facility designed by jmarchitects and delivered by Morrison Construction for Midlothian Council. This state-of-the-art school accommodates 459 pupils and prioritises sustainability, biophilic design, and outdoor learning.

To ensure the safety of young learners, DorSuite supplied 90 doorsets from our ProtectSuite range with integral finger protection devices. This solution, suited for the education sector, helps prevent finger injuries, creating a safer environment for students and staff.

DorSuite manufactured and supplied 150 doorsets, including 18 space-saving glazed pocket doorsets, 21 doorsets with glazed sidescreens, and 2 high-performance 2 hour fire-rated PyroSuite doors. The use of high-quality Ash veneered Epicore door leaves, with solid Ash frames and architraves, further enhanced the aesthetic appeal and sustainability of the project.

By working closely with Morrison Construction and jmarchitects, DorSuite delivered bespoke solutions that aligned with the school’s design vision and functional requirements. This collaborative approach resulted in a stunning learning environment that inspires and empowers young minds.
