Ferrari World Waterproofed By SOPREMA

OVERVIEW

Project Description

Exactly 55 742 m² of red flag membrane were sent to Abu Dhabi (11 containers) to provide sealing of the enormous roof of the Ferrari World building. This is the most grand indoor amusement park in the world, located on Yas Island.

The SOPREMA laboratory designed the membrane to be resistant to heat above 40 ° C, temperature regularly exceeded in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The installation of the waterproofing membrane took a month. Groups of 30 to 50 workers worked tirelessly and even at night due to the extreme weather conditions.
