Project summary

A large IRC build in Oxfordshire required an anti-ligature solution that was cost-effective, repeatable across multiple rooms, and deliverable at pace. Coverad delivered a coordinated package featuring Eazi Access Secure+ anti-ligature radiator covers (controlled access for servicing) alongside matching steel pipe boxing, with the ability to incorporate additional bespoke items during the programme.

Scope delivered

The challenge

The contractor needed an anti-ligature intent solution appropriate for a secure setting, without programme risk. Requirements included:

• Robust anti-ligature-led detailing suitable for secure accommodation
• Controlled access for ongoing maintenance/inspection without removing the entire casing
• Repeatable manufacture across many rooms with consistent fit and finish
• A supply/installation programme able to flex as site requirements evolved
