The Project
Brighton Beach has long been one of the UK’s most iconic coastal spots, with a vibrant seaside charm and a thriving community of cyclists and pedestrians.
When Brighton & Hove City Council set out to revitalise Kingsway to the Sea, they knew that sustainability, aesthetics and practicality all had to work together. We were tasked to design and install a premium refuse solution that provided secure cycle storage but blended seamlessly with the natural coastal environment.
Client Objective
Our Solution
Working closely with the Council’s project team, we crafted the Amazon Eco Plant Enclosure, a unique structure combining durability, sustainable materials, and an elegant design inspired by natural timber architecture.

Results & Impact
The finished enclosure is a striking addition to Brighton’s regenerated seafront. It provides secure and discreet storage for refuse and supports the council’s ambitions to combine sustainability and practicality on the waterfront.
The natural timber finish complements the coastal surroundings, while the robust steel framework ensures long-term durability in the face of sea air and high footfall.
