Oakmans Inn – The Beech House

OVERVIEW

For The Beech House, part of the Oakmans Inn group in Beaconsfield, the installation of Murano Terrazzo Essential introduced a vibrant yet refined focal point to the dispense bar area. Spanning 22.95 m², this bespoke terrazzo application combined contemporary design with the robust performance demanded in hospitality settings.

Chosen for its smooth, honed surface and superior durability, Murano Terrazzo Essential features a lively mix of ochre, rust, jade green, and navy marble chips scattered across a warm, off-white cement base. This playful but elegant colour palette brought energy and character to the bar, perfectly complementing the modern interior concept.

Precision-cut slabs - complete with custom cut-outs and butt-jointed drop-down edges - were installed over an 18mm plywood substrate, ensuring both aesthetic coherence and structural integrity. The honed finish offers a tactile surface that resists wear while remaining easy to clean and maintain.

This installation exemplifies how terrazzo can elevate commercial environments, delivering visual interest, lasting durability, and seamless integration with bespoke joinery. Murano Terrazzo Essential proves itself a standout choice for high-traffic hospitality spaces looking to balance style with substance.
