Design

• Rainspan cladding creates a weathertight building envelope, with expanded mesh panels adding texture and visual interest
• Pre-construction team assessed the impact of wind load on panels and fixings, and the risks of working at height
• Maple worked closely with architects to retain their design intent

Manufacture

• Cladding delivered as pre-fabricated panels with special extrusions to make installation safe and efficient
• Rainspan is a composite material that provides a support system for a range of façades

Installation

• 2,700 sq m of Rainspan cladding installed on a 109m high building
• Close collaboration with the main contractor and other trades on a complex build and tight city-centre site
• At 109m, Oxygen Towers was Maple’s highest ever installation project
