OVERVIEW
St Catherine's College opened their doors in 1962, and the men behind it was renowed danish architects Arne Jacobsen and Knud Holscher.
Arne Jacobsen had a concrete wall in his backyard to which he referred when working on St Catherine’s College: “This is what it should look like -smooth and slightly glossy”.
After only two years at the studio of Arne Jacobsen outside of Copenhagen, Knud Holscher was put in charge of a project that would have a major impact on his career.
