The Royal Marsden Oak Cancer Centre

The new £70m Oak Cancer Centre is a state-of-the-art research and treatment facility funded by The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. The centre has been designed to help accelerate the development of new cancer treatments, diagnose more cancers at an earlier stage and enhance the treatment experience for patients.

What's included?

[1] Chemotherapy prep rooms with drug preparation areas, laid out for maximum efficiency for clinical staff.

[2] Using Systeméd aluminium framed glass doors helped ensure easy visibility to consumables and medications, with doors clear of messy labels interfering with cleaning procedures.

[3] Most drug preparation areas require a combination of accessories including nylon coated wire baskets on telescopic runners for heavy fluids, shelves for bulky

boxes, ABS baskets for mid-size products and 100mm clear polycarbonate trays for the smallest items.

[5] Double width HTM71 modular drawers with removable and dividable trays and accessories.

[6] T60 style tall Systeméd cabinets with Barrd® swipe card access, providing enormous storage capacity for small and large packs.

[7] Barrd® swipe card locking system providing secure access management to drugs and medications. The slim lock body fits neatly onto the aluminium glass frames.

[8] Island unit with neat B60 style unit at the end and overhanging compact laminate worktop to cover mobile sharps bin.

[9] Chemotherapy drug preparation pods duplicated in a 5 bay run to provide maximum drug preparation efficiency.
