Designed to provide maximum protection for vulnerable detectors while not compromising their effective operation. Available in two finishes, the design adopts a matrix of perforations that provides access for smoke to the detector while providing a protective shield against vandalism and misuse.
The Stainless Steel Detector Stopper has been manufactured from heavy-duty 18 gauge (1.2 mm) stainless steel, which provides a natural resistance to corrosion. Suitable for any application where food is present as well as use in water treatment plants and correctional facilities.
The coated cold rolled Steel Detector Stopper has been manufactured from 16 gauge (1.5 mm) cold rolled steel with a white corrosion resistant polyester coating. The steel gives it strength and durability, protecting detectors which may be frequently vandalised causing high maintenance costs and false fire alarms.
