Description

Clipfix capping system which is designed to accommodate expansion stresses. All system materials are aluminium and silicon rubber, and therefore do not corrode under normal atmospheric conditions. Each project is carefully assessed to ascertain where any site applications may involve heavily polluted or marine atmospheres.


The system incorporates profiled extrusion support/ joint brackets which channel water at capping joints to eliminate leaks. The design offered by CGL will identify required components to safely satisfy wind loads.


Features and benefits:

  • Joints are securely waterproofed by the profiled nature of the support extrusion. The system does not rely upon site-applied mastic seals but upon the proven engineering technology of the design.
  • Capable of coping with design wind pressures by variation of metal thickness and bracket placement.
  • Easy and quick to install. All necessary components are supplied to support, seal, level, and silence the finished capping. The Contractor can install the capping from the roof without the need for expensive scaffolding.
  • All materials are compatible, corrosion-free, lightweight, and simple to disassemble and repair if damaged.
  • Cappings are available in coil-coated, powder-coated or anodized aluminium.
  • CGL Systems would always recommend a security fix through the back leg of the coping into the clip-on bracket.
