Application

The rooflights can be installed on flat roof slopes from 0–15°, but a minimum of 5° is recommended to avoid ponding water on the glass surface.

Description

The product has an elegant and aesthetic design, and brings daylight into commercial buildings.


The modules are available in standard sizes and can also be configured, manufactured and delivered in special sizes for specific needs.


Features and benefits:

  • Clean, aesthetic design.
  • Frameless panels ensure maximum light penetration into rooms without obtrusive framing blocking light from underneath.
  • High thermal insulation and airtightness, and optimum noise reduction.
  • Comes complete with kerb for installation onto flat and shallow pitched roofs.
  • Opened by a chain motor which is integrated and concealed in the kerb.
  • Complete with 115 mm silk screen printing along the edge for UV protection on the sealing.
  • Linearlight is a row of connected VELUX Modular Rooflights which provide a larger area of natural light, without the need for additional support.
  • Prefabricated, built-in wooden upstand provides a straightforward and simple installation process.
  • The wooden upstand is supplied from 150–600 mm, depending on project requirements.
  • Low E glazing available in double and triple-glazed options.
  • Silk screen print gives a pleasing finish, as well as ultraviolet (UV) protection to the gaskets and the underlying construction.
  • Gaskets provide watertight and airtight construction.
  • Clear internal – 90° lining defines the clear internal part of the product and provides great connection with the interior.
  • Lining groove – makes the plasterboard connection easy.
  • Vapour barrier pre-fitted to ensure easy and secure connection.
  • EPS Insulation in the frame ensures good insulation performance of the entire product.
  • The control system is not a part of the VELUX Modular Rooflight venting modules.
  • Maximize the amount of natural light without intrusive framing being visible from underneath.
