M5.0 is high strength lime mortar known as eminent mix where a higher level of durability is required below DPC and in exposed areas such as chimneys, copings, or canals/marine work. A cement-free blend of natural hydraulic lime and selected aggregates. The mortar is highly workable and combines long term flexibility and breathability with durability. The mortar is available in two aggregate grades, 4 mm grit for standard wider 10mm joints and 2 mm grit for thin joint work, in a range of six colours. Both mortars are available in two strength types M2.5 and M5.0 - also known as HLM2.5 & HLM5.0.
