Description

Nicobond Tile Backer Board is constructed from extruded polystyrene and is coated on both sides with a polymer-modified cement mortar reinforced with glass fibre mesh. This board can be used as a conventional tile backer board or construction panel, providing an alternative to timber or gypsum substrates. Its thermal properties make it particularly suitable for use as an insulation layer beneath under-tile heating systems.

Nicobond Tile Backer Board is lightweight, rigid, dimensionally stable and waterproof, all properties deemed necessary within the requirements of BS 5385. Pre-cut panels, pipe covers, bath panels and bespoke solutions are available.
