The louvres in a panel are placed in a fixed position. For example at an angle of 45 or 60°. In the summer, when the sun is high, direct sunlight is usually sufficiently blocked but retain the benefit of enough daylight. On a (partly) cloudy day panels can slide aside and enjoy a full, unblocked view and plenty of natural light.

Sunshield offers an extensive range of louvres in aluminium and wood. Louvres made of aluminium are available in a wide range of colours. Choose from powder coat colours and anodizing colours. The most common colours are available from stock. Special colours and treatments, such as textured for example, are available on request. Wooden blades are usually made from Western Red Cedar. Wooden louvers are available with several treatments and in various colours.
