Description
A foldable ladder system with incorporated GlideLoc fall protection rail. In the closed position, the rungs pivot together behind the central guide rail. There are two options available:
-PivotLoc height access system:
- Constructed from a lockable entry section and further foldable ladder sections up to a total height of 20 m.
- Slim and unobtrusive in the closed position.
-PivotLoc restricted access system:
- Used in conjunction with GuideLoc Y-Spar and twin ladder systems as an alternative to a security cover plate.
- Fixed height: 2.8 m.
Features and benefits:
- Offers a reliable fall protection solution for height access and work positioning.
- When closed, the ladder can be locked shut in order to prevent unauthorized use.
- Can be locked open to prevent accidental closure.
- Sections are lightweight and easy to manoeuvre.
- Systems of up to 20 m high can be opened from ground or safe platform level.
- The side stiles offer additional support to the user when climbing and descending.
- Once the side rails have been folded together, the ladder is very discreet (105 mm in the closed position) thus meeting architectural and planning requirements for an 'invisible' height access system.
- Can be used in conjunction with all GlideLoc ladder systems or on its own.
- Constructed from corrosion resistant anodized aluminium.
- In the closed position, the wind resistance of the system is at a minimum.
