Description

WISA-Birch is a light-coloured and strong plywood panel for multiple end-uses, including transport, construction, and furniture. The panel is made of birch veneers bonded with weather-resistant glue. The product has a light, smooth and even surface that offers an optimal base for different overlaying methods. Due to its excellent strength, uncoated WISA birch plywood is widely used in the demanding vehicle, shipbuilding, construction and furniture industries.

Features and benefits:

  • Light, smooth and hard surface.
  • High quality strength and weight ratio.
  • Possibility to customize according to your needs.
  • Wide size and thickness range available with strict tolerances.
  • All birch veneer, structural grade plywood to which the section properties, grade stresses and moduli listed in BS 5268-2 apply; see also 'Handbook of Finnish plywood' on manufacturer's website for details.
  • Plies are bonded using a phenolic resin, cross-bonded, weather resistant glue to EN 314-2, Class 3 'Exterior'.
  • As wood is a living material, every panel is unique. Thus a photograph or a sample piece cannot represent all variations in colour, shade, graining, knots.
  • Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certified.
  • Manufactured only in Finland and Estonia.
  • Shapes, profiles and drillings can be machined to specifier's drawings.
