Thermally broken aluminium vertical sliding window system.


Features and benefits:

  • Vertical sliding window (VSW) system offering the durability associated with aluminium systems.
  • Security is assured with Comar 5P.i VSW meeting PAS 24 requirements.
  • With clean aesthetic lines the window suits both traditional and modern environments.
  • Dual colour option is available, providing greater design flexibility.
  • The updated VSW provides even more reliability and security features, such as sash locks with a concealed tilt latch mechanism ensuring the window can provide long lasting smooth operation.
  • Internally beaded the Comar 5Pi. VSW provides a neat exterior finish and can be coupled to other window configurations to create larger composites.
  • Comar 5Pi. Optional lockable travel restrictors are available. To ensure the continued long term visual appeal and maintenance of the Comar 5Pi. VSW, both sashes can be tilted for cleaning. All VSWs are fitted with tilt restrictors.
  • Weather performance is assured with brush and Q-Lon bubble seals to the whole perimeter of each sash.
  • Minimum with 500 mm; maximum height 2800 mm subject to wind loading.
  • Internally beaded the VSW is designed to accommodate industry standard 24 mm and 28 mm glazed units.
  • All technical aspects for this product are covered in the product manual and further information is available from Comar’s Technical Department for specific contract requirements.
  • The Comar 5Pi. vertical sliding window system has been designed in accordance with BS4873 and other recognized industry standards adopted by CWCT and trade associations i.e. The Council For Aluminium in Building.
  • Sash frames are constructed with mitre joints with inserted sprung loaded cleats which are manually tightened.
  • The window has a sash lock with concealed tilt latches. Optional travel restrictors are available.
  • Window hardware allows both sashes to have slide and tilt options for easy cleaning access.
  • Drop in pivot bar and shoe simplify fabrication.
  • Security tested to PAS 24:2022
  • Weather tested to BS 6735.
  • Available anodized or polyester powder-coated; Hipca white as standard with other RAL colours on short lead times and dual colour option available.
