Description

A high-quality facing brick with a traditional frogged design, offering a lightly glazed finish and rich, enduring colour blends. Available in two distinctive styles—Smooth facing brick for a crisp, contemporary aesthetic and Antique facing brick for a more rustic, heritage-inspired look—this brick range delivers both visual appeal and long-term performance.

Features and benefits:

  • Available in a smooth finish with crisp edges for a contemporary look; and an antique finish with rumbled edges for a more traditional look.
  • Woodward bricks are frogged, so they are lighter and easier to handle than solid bricks.
  • The frog creates an extra recess for the mortar, resulting in a stronger bond between bricks.
  • Low efflorescence
  • Frogged bricks reduce the environmental impact as the indentation in the brick saves on materials, which also helps reduce the curing time of the bricks.
  • Mean coefficient of water absorption: 4.4 g/m²s.

Type of mortar:

Recommended ratio 6:1, sand to ordinary portland cement (OPC).
