Grating panels are made in a wide range of apertures. The different apertures provide alternative levels of free area to meet ventilation and project requirements.
Features and benefits:
- Framed panels are manufactured to custom-sizes for a wide variety of applications such as walkways, balcony decking, ventilation grilles, service platforms, escape stairs and brise soleil.
- Panels and support steelwork are supplied hot-dip galvanized, with an option for an additional polyester powder coating to any RAL colour.
- Any grating with an aperture 22 mm wide or less can be classified as a safety grating in accordance with BS 45920: 2006. These gratings will prevent the passage of a 20 mm sphere.
Electrofused Gratings (Type-EF):
- Manufactured from flat bearing bars and round transverse bars and available in the following apertures: 22 x 38 mm, 22 x 76 mm, 25 x 76 mm, 25 x 25 mm, 34 x 38 mm and 34x76 mm.
- The bearing bar can vary from 25 x 3 mm to 80 x 4 mm and the transverse bar from 4—6 mm in diameter, for different loading/ span requirements.
Pressure Locked Gratings (Type-PL):
- Pressed gratings which are manufactured exclusively from flat bars.
- Available in the following apertures: 22 x 22 mm, 22 x 66 mm, 33 x 33 mm, 33 x 66 mm, 44 x 22 mm, 66 x 22 mm and 66 x 33 mm.
- Bearing bar can vary from 25 x 2 mm to 150 x 5 mm and the transverse bar from 10 x 2 mm to 20 x 4mm, to meet different loading/ span requirements.
Pressure Locked Gratings (Type-PLX):
- Cross pressed gratings designed for heavy duty vehicle loadings, manufactured exclusively from flat bars.
- Available in the following apertures: 22 x 66 mm, 33 x 33 mm, 33 x 66 mm, 25 x 66 mm and 66 x 33 mm.
- The bearing bar can vary from 30 x 4 mm to150 x 6 mm and the transverse bar from 15 x 4 mm to 30 x 6 mm, for different loading/ span requirements.
