Summary
Thermalkly conductive acoustic solution for TABS soffits
-
-
Application

Designed for buildings which require high acoustic performance in the private or public sector. Suitable for restaurants, hotels, cultural or educational institutions, private homes, commercial offices, spa or wellness facilities and heritage or conservation indoor environments. Suitable for applications in grazing lights.

This system is installed exclusively with activated concrete surfaces. In these applications, BASWA Core can either be installed in the concrete ceiling of the building’s shell (inlay) or can be mounted to an existing ceiling retroactively during the interior build-out phase.

Description

BASWA Core is a combined thermally conductive and seamless acoustic absorption system used for thermally active concrete soffits and surfaces.

Where acoustic systems would normally insulate, energy generated from the thermoactive surface is conducted into the room by the high performance sound-absorbing BASWA Core system.

Consequently, the storage capacity of thermoactive concrete systems is efficiently used for heating and cooling the building, and the reverberation time is also controlled.

Features and benefits:

  • Excellent broadband sound absorption.
  • Excellent thermal transmission for TABs.
  • Heating: max. 80 % (with 70 % occupancy of the surface), Cooling: max 74 % (with 70 % occupancy of the surface).
  • Smooth, seamless surface.
  • Glass fibre board (pressure and tension-resistant) with a 6 mm open pore pre-coating, constructed from recycled glass granulate (Poraver) organically combined.
