Description
Safety backed glass mirrors for internal use. Used in a wide range of applications.
The safety backing conforms to BS6206 class B & C, and helps to hold the shards together in the event of a breakage.
Features and benefits:
- Safety backed to BS6206 class B & C / BS EN 12600 2B2.
- 4 mm or 6 mm thickness.
- Supplied with a flat polished edge as standard.
- Available in a range of aluminium frames.
- Bespoke shapes and sizes are available.
- Multiple fixing options available.
- Optional bevelled edges from 6-40mm for 6mm thick glass mirrors.
- Mirrors can be toughened for increased safety (complies to BS6206 class A with safety backing).
Safety backed glass mirrors must be mechanically fixed. Adhesive fixing is not recommended as only the backing would be bonded to the substrate.
