Description

Commercial door system designed to perform up to a maximum leaf size of 1400 x 3000 mm and 180 kg. The PURe® Commercial Door is Senior Architectural Systems Ltd largest, heaviest and most robust door. Due to the innovative patented expanded polyurethane (PUR) thermal break at the core, it has an impressive thermal efficiency together with slim sightlines for maximum daylight. Available in standard, electronic locking and panic-exit versions. Tested to PAS24, BS 6375-2 and BS 6375-3.


Features and benefits:

  • High performance polyurethane thermal barrier providing U-values as low as 0.94 W/m²K when calculated as a CEN Standard door.
  • Vastly exceeds the 3.5 W/m²K U-value required for high use doors in high traffic areas.
  • Able to receive double or triple glazing from 28–60 mm for maximum thermal and acoustic performance.
  • Cleats are predrilled for shoots and colour coded for easy identification.
  • All hardware is securely fixed into the aluminium profiles, not the thermal break, to avoid thermal bridging and provide a more secure fixing.
  • Steel hinges have three-way ±4 mm adjustment.
  • Doors can be factory-hung to save time on site.
  • Fully adjustable keeps for optimum compression.
  • Available in an almost unlimited range of colours and finishes both inside and out.
  • Handles, overhead door closer and anti-finger trap hardware can be colour matched.
  • Slim sightlines for maximum daylight.
  • Choice of mitred or square cut top and bottom rails.
  • Easy to fabricate and install.
  • Thermal barriers: Expanded polyurethane (PUR).
  • Gaskets: Manufactured in accordance with BS 3734.


Construction:

  • Constructed using mitred corners, joined with crimped or mechanical cleats; alignment chevrons assist in clean, accurate mitres. Integral transoms and mullions are scribed around the outer frames and fixed with either screwports or shearblocks. A proprietary sealant is used on all metal joints.
