4Edge Pro - Patent Glazing System

The system design provides weatherability, sleek sightlines and hidden fixings, seamlessly combining the best features of patent glazing with the strength and span capabilities of curtain walling. The 4Edge Pro glazing system eliminates the need for additional weathering tapes or silicone sealants, significantly reducing the risk of compromised seals. This innovative design extends the system’s lifespan considerably, especially when compared with sloping curtain walling alternatives. Available for single, double, and triple glazing applications, the 4Edge Pro glazing system is versatile and adaptable. It is fully compatible with the Skyline Box, Skyline, Rafterline and Traditional Glazing bars, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of architectural designs and requirements.

The internal box section of the glazing bar delivers exceptional strength, while the screw-on pressure cap ensures robust weathering. For a seamless aesthetic in modern roof glazing, a choice of plain or ornate snap-on cappings that conceal all fixings, is available. When combined with high-performance double glazing units featuring warm edge spacer bars and argon gas filling, the system achieves an overall U-value of 1.35 W/m²K, and is fully compliant with Building Regulation Document L. For even greater thermal efficiency, when used with high-performance triple glazing units, an overall U-value of 0.95 W/m²K can be achieved.

May not be suitable for certain refurbishment contracts due to rebates in existing structure being too shallow for glazing bars. Not compatible with proprietary skylight systems.
