Plastic retro-fitted acoustic core ventilator with external cowl.
Application
- Cowled through-wall background room ventilator for use in noisy areas to reduce the amount of noise entering the building to give a more peaceful environment.
- As a plastic component this item is not suitable for use within the external walls of high-rise buildings requiring non-combustible materials.
Description
Plastic, retro-fitted acoustic core ventilator with external cowl, compliant with BS 5250.
Features and benefits:
- Reduces sound by 45 dB with internal grille fully open and 50 dB when closed.
- For use in noisy areas to reduce the amount of noise entering the building to give a more peaceful environment.
- External cowl protects against excessive weather conditions and alleviates air blasts through the cavity.
- Unique draught reducing internal panel disperses air evenly into the room for improved comfort.
- Panel manually adjusted with an easy push/ pull or tilt action allowing ventilation to be controlled as required.
- Internal panel can be painted or wallpapered to match room décor for a discreet appearance.
- External water baffle prevents transfer of water across the cavity.
- Interlocking components aid correct positioning, alignment and easy installation.
- Cowl and external grille UV stabilized to slow down the effects of sunlight.
- Screws provided to secure the internal panel.
