Application

Monodeck Mat 15 is particularly suitable for floor upgrades when looking to improve sound reduction on stairs and under engineered floors. To be used over floorboards for conversions, refurbishments or listed buildings requiring minimal structural change.

Description

Monodeck Mat 15 acoustic flooring systems are designed for high levels of impact sound reduction through timber floors and staircases where an acoustic test is accepted for this type of system. (Not all authorities will accept a test on a soft floor covering when laid on a structural timber floor).

Monodeck Mat 15 is a 15 mm tri-layer system with an 8 mm acoustic chip foam core.

When installed and accepted as part of a complete party floor construction all systems enable a timber floor to meet the sound transmission standards of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010, 2013 and 2015.
