Application
An adjustable wash basin that is intended for both seated and standing users with disabilities.
Suitable for areas where it is not possible to have a powered, electrically operated basin bracket in both public or private settings.
Useful for SEND schools, care homes, private homes, hospitals, hospices and anywhere a height adjustable basin is required - particularly if there is no access to electricity.
Description
PKG-0004 consists of height adjustable, wall-mounted basin bracket (adjustable with crank handle), wide basin, flexible plumbing, drain fitting and TMV3 tap.
Features and benefits:
- Manually height adjustable bracket by 200 mm with crank handle, including fixing bolts for wash basin.
- Basin features two integrated handrails in the front. 780 x 550 x 165 mm
- Concealed plumbing cover - hygienic.
- WRAS approved flexible plumbing kit included.
- TMV3 tap with long lever included. Featuring anti scald technology, a safe touch body and a self draining spout. With copper inlet tails.
- Drain fitting, ring, chain and plug included.
- Shallow trap included.
Product capacity:
- Maximum user weight (MUM): 167 kg.
- Maximum load (SWL): 150 kg.
- Suitable for wash basins weighing no more than 25 kg.
- When the wash basin is loaded with 150 kg, each wall fastener will be carrying 60 kg.
- Wash basin brackets need to be able to carry the weight of the wash basin, as well as support the weight of the person who is leaning against the wash basin or who is using the wash basin to rise from seated position.
- Neither wash basin nor wash basin bracket are intended to carry the full body weight of a person
