Structural anchor posts for fall protection and abseil - Tested to BS 8610:2017 - UKCA / CE Manufactured.
The Ascent Anchor Device has three applications:
The post is designed and tested specifically for use on reinforced concrete roofs. Other fixing backgrounds, such as structural steel, timber etc can be utilised dependent on design and structural calculations.
The Ascent Anchor Post is available in four standard heights: 200, 400, 600 and 800 mm to suit varying roof build ups. Bespoke dimensions can be achieved following design and structural calculations.
Structural anchor posts manufactured for fall protection and abseil tested in accordance with EN 795:2012 & BS 8610:2017 manufactured to CE / UKCA manufacturing procedures from galvanized mild steel.
The Ascent Anchor Device is supplied with Three M12 threaded inserts in the top of the post. These inserts are designed and tested to receive anchor points for both fall protection and abseil.
For Fall Protection the M12 insert suits components supplied by the majority of the leading cable and rail based engineered fall protection system suppliers. It is the responsibility of the system designer to ensure that the loads potentially generated by the system do not exceed the capacity of the anchor device.
Designed specifically for attachment by industrial rope access technicians. It is tested for use in both rope access and work positioning to BS 8610:2017 Class A3 and rescue – accompanied descent, remotely or self-operated – direct attachment and redirect attachment and evacuation Class A4, A5, A6 and A7.
Weathering Caps can also be supplied for our fall protection posts.
