Application
For the weatherproofing of soil vent pipes
Description
A range of stainless-steel covers with integral membrane flange. The range includes variants to cover 110 mm and 160 mm diameter soil vent pipes that protrude above the level of the proposed new waterproofing system by a maximum of 600 mm.
Features and benefits:
- The unit is supplied in three parts to create an effective seal to the inside of the soil vent pipe, whilst providing a neat, watertight detail.
- Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) flange.
Only to be used as part of a full Bauder Bituminous or Single Ply Thermofol or Cold Liquid Systems (LiquiTEC or LiquiTOP System with PVC flanges only).

Execution | Manufacturer guidanceBauder SVP Covers (suitable for PVC membranes) of the correct size are to be placed over the existing soil vent pipes after installation of the main waterproofing membrane. The integral membrane flange is supplied blue grey and must be welded to the main waterproofing membrane, if the membrane on the main area is a different colour it may be necessary to install an additional patch over the integral membrane flange.
Bauder SVP Covers (suitable for PVC membranes) of the correct size are to be placed over the existing soil vent pipes after the Bauder LiquiTEC system has been installed. A layer of Bauder LiquiDETAIL is to be used to seal the integral flange to the main area, terminating at the base of the stainless steel pipe, all in accordance with Bauder instructions.
Bauder SVP Covers (suitable for PVC membranes) of the correct size are to be placed over the existing soil vent pipes after the LiquiTOP has been installed. A separate layer of LiquiTOP is to be used to seal the integral flange to the main area and taken up the outside of the installed SVP Cover to a minimum of 150 mm and sealed with a jubilee clip, all in accordance with Bauder instructions. |
