A reliable, environmentally responsible alternative to Siberian Larch.
Suitable for external cladding.
Millworks BCLarch® cladding is sourced exclusively from British Columbia, Canada, where the demanding climate imparts natural durability. Sustainably harvested in accordance with PEFC™ practices, BCLarch® offers a reliable, environmentally responsible alternative to Siberian Larch.
BCLarch® is similar in appearance to Siberian Larch with a prominent grain pattern characterised by the variation of earlywood to latewood. Consistent in colour and texture, BCLarch® ranges from light yellow to slightly darker browns. It is a practical choice for projects where a balance of aesthetics and natural wood features is desired.
Millworks B/C Grade timber features a blend of clear, semi-clear and knotty boards and includes timber with Millworks A – C grading characteristics. This grade arises from the natural cutting process and the way the timber ‘falls’ from the saw, as such allow for some visible knots and irregularities on the shown face. Resin pockets are normal and should not considered defects. Similar to BS 1186-3 Classes 1 to 3.

Applied finish | Uncoated. MillCoat – UV Light. Guidance for specification option: MillCoat® coating system is designed to both enhance the appearance of timber and offer a layer of defence against adverse weathering and UV degradation. This low-build wood stain is applied under controlled factory conditions to ensure a consistent and durable finish. |
Surface texture | Planed. Guidance for specification option: For uncoated finish options only. Boards are run through the planning mill to create a smooth finish. MillTex®. Guidance for specification option: MillTex® creates a uniform surface texture by roughing the surface of each board. Recommended for optimal performance and durability of coatings. |
