Description
Briklok™ is a drained and ventilated cladding system that combines traditional brick detailing and modern construction techniques.
Use with natural clay brick slips to create the warmth and texture of a traditional brick façade
The system uses a kerf design to mechanically fix the slips to the Briklok™ profiles. No resins or adhesives are used to secure the brick slips.
Features and benefits:
- RJ Facades partner with Ibstock Futures to fabricate Ibstock bricks and 3rd party bricks into Briklok™ slips.
- Slips are cut from a natural brick, with no bonded corners.
- Complex detailing made simple. Projecting bricks, corduroy effects are easily integrated.
- Adjustable to meet site tolerances +/-1 mm per brick course.
- Off-site prefabrication of column / pier details - increasing accuracy and reducing installation time.
- Designed for simple cavity barrier installation. The Briklok™ interlocking rail system provides a continuous aluminium backing surface facing into the rainscreen cavity. This gives a solid and continuous surface to compress the vertical cavity barrier against.
- Briklok™ system has been tested to TGD19 in conjunction with FSi Horizontal Ventilated Cavity Barriers rated at E90 I30, and achieved a combined rating of E90 I30
- When tested to BS EN 13501-1, the components and the system achieved Euroclass A1
- Made in UK using low carbon Hydro 4.0 Anodized aluminium - the lowest available in the UK.
