Recess-mounted aluminium floor joint covers, highly resistant to rolling loads, distortion and wear. Available in five frame depth configurations to accommodate a wide range of floor finishes.
Application
Suitable for interior or exterior floor areas where high resistance to rolling loads, distortion and wear, as well as multi-directional movement are a requirement.
Applications include airport terminals, malls and traffic hubs.
Description
Recess-mounted aluminium floor joint covers, highly resistant to rolling loads, distortion and wear. Five frame depths are available to suit a variety of situations and they can be mixed and matched if required. All exposed sections are serrated to provide a slip-resistant surface.
Features and benefits:
- Joint width: up to 110 mm.
- Horizontal movement: up to +40/-20 mm.
- Vertical movement: up to ±15 mm.
- Lateral movement: Infinite (restricted by site conditions).
- Load capability: 1000 kg point load. APF floor joint covers are designed for high traffic areas with heavy rolling loads, such as airport terminals, malls or traffic hubs.
- Exposed sections are serrated to provide a slip-resistant surface.
- Tamper-proof solution with no exposed fasteners.
- Durable and low maintenance.
- Fixing:
- Floor fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres and to achieve minimum 40 mm embedment.
- Wall fixings (by others) to suit substrate at 450 mm centres.
