Application

Used to protect structural elements during transport and on construction sites while maintaining the hygrothermal behaviour of components by applying a breathable monolithic membrane layer.

A self-adhesive breathable monolithic membrane providing water protection and high breathability with durable adhesive.

Features and benefits:

  • The homogeneous and continuous monolithic functional layer provides maximum protection against the passage of water and high breathability.
  • The special compound ensures significant weather resistance and durability over time.
  • The (polyurethane) PU top layer provides water impermeability, excellent durability and resistance to construction site stresses.
  • The acrylic dispersion glue ensures breathability and does not alter the properties of the functional film of the membrane.

Guidance for specification option:

Laboratory ageing tests are not able to reproduce the unpredictability of the product's degradation or the stresses to which it will be subjected during its service life. To ensure its integrity, it is recommended to limit the time of exposure to the weather during the construction phase to a maximum of 10 weeks. According to DTU 31.2 P1-2 (France), UV ageing of 1000 hours allows a maximum exposure of 3 months during the construction phase.
