Using DVS tap spouts with a separate control source, including the Tap Control System and programmable sensor, provides a range of tap spout solutions for a wide variety of applications. Various settings can be customized quickly and easily from within the control box or using the handheld programmer such as run-times and tap purges. Combining the benefits of no-touch technology with water savings and robust reliable performance, no-touch automatic taps are an ideal choice for washrooms across a wide variety of applications, offering benefits to commercial and public sector environments. DVS no-touch taps have been extensively developed and tested to achieve high levels of reliability and consistent performance, combined with attractive design options.

Controls	Not required. Tap Control system. Guidance for specification option: The tap control system can be used to control mixed water for one or two taps, or to control both hot and cold on a single tap using two sensors. The control system can be used with wave-on or tactile sensors. The tap control system also features built-in purge control option to avoid stagnation. When a user waves their hand past the sensor (or pushes the tactile switch) the control system activates the solenoid valve, the valve will then run for a pre-set time before automatically closing the valve and stopping the tap. Purge controller. Guidance for specification option: The automatic tap purge controller reduces the risk of Legionella by purging the taps if they have not been operated for a predefined time. Purge run times are adjustable and can be set between 5 seconds and 5 minutes. A periodic purge can be switched on or off.
Battery back-up	Not required. Required. Guidance for specification option: Battery backup unit: The automatic tap battery backup unit will automatically switch from mains supply to battery in the event of a power failure (comes complete with AT00-024 battery pack). When mains power is restored the unit will switch back to mains supply.
