Description
Helical, stainless steel slip tie, designed to provide lateral restraint across movement joints.
Features and benefits:
- The tie is bedded in mortar at one side of the joint with high performance specialist grout; the other end is fitted into a sleeve, bonded to the other side of the joint, to allow axial movement.
- Used in lengths of 400 mm
- Comprises stainless steel helical reinforcing bars
- Rapid economical solution for securing new created expansion joints
- Avoids expensive taking down and rebuilding
- Minimal disruption to building’s fabric
- Fully concealed once installed
