A metal-faced, insulated loft hatch designed to provide access through ceilings into loft or attic spaces while maintaining thermal insulation performance in accordance with Building Regulation Part L. The unit comprises a metal door with a 25 mm picture frame, a 50 mm thick polystyrene insulation core, and an integral draft seal to assist in reducing heat loss.
This product achieves a thermal transmittance (U-value) of 0.760 W/m², contributing to energy efficiency and compliance with modern building energy standards. Panels are supplied with a budget lock and finished in a durable powder-coated RAL 9010 (30% gloss) as standard. Both non-fire-rated and one‑hour fire‑rated options are available.
