A rigid thermoset polyisocyanurate (PIR) tapered insulation board.
For use beneath mechanically fixed single-ply flat roofing systems.
A tapered version of Kingspan Thermaroof TR26, Kingspan Thermataper TT46 board is designed for use beneath mechanically fixed single-ply non-bituminous roofing systems. The Kingspan Thermataper range has been specifically designed to prevent water ponding, the most common cause of failure of flat roofs.
U Value calculations for the Kingspan Thermataper range incorporate BS EN ISO 6946: 2017- Annex E (Building Components and Building Elements). Annex E outlines the calculation procedure to determine the total thermal transmittance of tapered insulation - what is termed the 'Annex C U Value'.
Kingspan Thermataper TT46 is manufactured under a management system certified to ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management Systems. Requirements), ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management Systems. Requirements), ISO 45001: 2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) and ISO 50001: 2018 (Energy Management Systems. Requirements with guidance for use) and ISO 37301: 2021 (Compliance Management Systems. Requirements with guidance for use).
Kingspan Thermataper TT46 is also manufactured in accordance with the Harmonised Standard BS EN 13165: 2012 + A2: 2016 (Thermal insulation products for buildings- Factory made rigid polyurethane foam (PUR) products- Specification).
