Damp and waterproof sealing compound
Application
- Waterproofing against pressurized water.
- Sealing pipe penetrations, cavities, etc. in structures below ground.
As an additional safeguard, the mouth of the penetration is closed with Köster KB-Fix 5, a waterproof, weatherproof, fast curing mortar with high compressive strength (sets after approximately five minutes).
Description
Damp and waterproof sealing compound.
Features and benefits:
- Does not dry out, but remains permanently plastic and mouldable.
- Impermeable against water and vapour.
- Good adhesion to dry and moist mineral substrates, including concrete, masonry, mortar and plaster.
- It will also bond to ceramics and plastics such as PVC, polyethylene and polypropylene.
- Gun-applied, one-component product.
