Application

The panels are particularly recommended for building projects where very high level of fire protection or the use of non-combustible façade materials is prescribed - for example high-rise buildings or special buildings such as schools, hospitals, shopping malls, Airports, public transport etc.

Description

Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding solution, CWCT Certified for 4mm Pressure Equalized Back Ventilated

Rain Screen Panel System. A1 ACM Complies with the non-combustibility requirements of BS EN 13501-1 and tested to UK CWCT rain screen cladding test. This product has been tested US NFPA 285 Systems test to make sure it complies with the US market.


It provides high rigidity and is less susceptible to the material instability inherent in solid aluminium which causes oil canning and warping on the cladding surface.


The panel is lightweight and easy-to-use, thus minimizing installation and resource requirements. It is also available in a wide range of finishes to suit any design aesthetic.


The product incorporates seven major elements:

  • 100 µm Protective Film.
  • 5–7 µm Primer.
  • 0.50 mm top aluminium skin, chromate tested.
  • 30 µm adhesive made with DuPont resin manufactured in the USA.
  • 3 mm Euroclass A1 core with 4 mm Alucopanel® A1.
  • 30 µm adhesive.
  • 0.50 mm bottom aluminium skin chromate tested.
  • Back coat.
  • Material Weight 8.0 Kg/m2


A choice of coatings are available, including:

  • PDVF 2 coat (20 Year Warranty).
  • PDVF 3 coat (25 Year Warranty).
  • HDPE 2 coat (10 Year Warranty).
  • HDPE 3 coat (15 Year Warranty).
  • HDPE Wood Finish (20 Year Warranty)



Fire testing and certification:

After successful results, Alucopanel® A1 received product certification no. TBW0300647 on the 30th September 2020 and external wall façade system certification no. TBW0300672 on the 17th December 2020.


Dubai Municipality Certification:

Technical Approval by Dubai Central Lab involve wholistic review of product compliance and manufacturing.
