Application
The intended use of PFC Corofil Intumescent Putty Pad CIPP is to reinstate the fire resistance performance of flexible and rigid wall constructions where they have been provided with apertures for the penetration of electrical cables into electrical back boxes.
Description
PFC Corofil Intumescent Putty Pad CIPP is a flexible intumescent pad used to reinstate the fire resistance performance of flexible and rigid wall constructions where they have been provided with apertures for the penetration of electrical cables into electrical back boxes.
The PFC Corofil Intumescent Putty Pad CIPP is supplied pre-cut to size with a peel off strip to both faces to prevent it from bonding materials other than for the desired application. The putty pad is installed by removing the peel off strips and wrapping the pad around the back box where it penetrates the face of the wall and covering the back face of the box.
Available in sizes:
170mm x 170mm x 4mm; to suit single socket box
230mm x 170mm x 4mm; to suit double socket box

• Provides fire resistance performance of 120 minutes integrity and insulation
• Can be used in flexible and rigid walls
• Conditioned to Type Z2: Intended for use in internal conditions with humidity lower than 85% RH excluding temperatures below 0°C, without exposure to rain or UV
