Description

Pilkington Mirai™, low carbon glass offering 50% less CO²e* vs Pilkington's standard glass product. Low carbon glass products to help meet stricter sustainability requirements in the built environment. Achieved using a combination of alternative fuel, high recycled glass content, and green electricity sources, Pilkington Mirai™ offers identical quality, performance, and aesthetics as Pilkington Optifloat™ Clear, but with only half the impact on the environment.

** The Global Warming Potential (GWP) value is derived from internal calculations. An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for Pilkington Mirai™ verified by an independent third party is in preparation. This will be based on a cradle-to-grave and module D approach in accordance with the requirements of EN 15804:2012+A2:2019/AC:2021 and Product Category Rules (PCRs) in accordance with EN 17074:2019.
