Description
Easy clean glass with a special coating applied on the glazing which works in two steps: The coating is activated by ultraviolet (UV) light and organic deposits are destroyed (five to seven days), and then rain washes the dirt away.
Features and benefits:
- The coating works to evenly spread water over the surface of the glass, creating a uniform cleaning of the glass surface, and quick drying action.
- Neutral appearance: Virtually indistinguishable from standard window glass.
- High light transmission.
- Incorporates a pyrolytic coating applied online via chemical vapour deposition (CVD) to the air side of the float glass on Planibel Clearlite and Planibel Dark Blue.
- Pyrolytic coating: Very durable and easy to process for glazing manufacturers.
- Independently tested to BS EN1096-5: Easy clean properties tested and verified by the renowned Fraunhofer Institute for Surface Engineering & Tho, Films IST.
