A polyethylene membrane with rounded square shaped reliefs that form channels specially designed to embed and fasten the electric heating cables.
Application
Uncoupling and waterproofing membrane for support also sensible to moisture such as:
- Wooden flooring
- Gypsum based and cement based screed
- Cracked and not perfectly cured substrates
- Old ceramic and natural stones flooring
- Non perfectly cured concrete
- Wooden structures
- Floor heating systems.
Do not use on bituminous coverings, to waterproof
outdoor, on highly flammable material as expected by building norms and on lightweight screeds.
Description
PRODESO HEAT GRIP 5 is a polyethylene membrane with rounded square shaped reliefs that form channels specially designed to embed and fasten the electric heating
cables. On the back a non-woven polypropylene fabric is thermo-welded to ensures the membrane fixing to the support. The rounded square shaped reliefs, interconnected between them by small channels to ensure the vapour management, are equipped with circular cavities that transfer the loads from the flooring to the support. On the wall of each circular cavity there are four rectangular-shape holes that guarantee a better mechanical grip of the adhesive, and then increase the flooring tensile strength.
The product is an uncoupling, waterproofing and vapour management membrane, with a thickness of 5.5 mm. It does not require expansion joints in the
creed before laying ceramic and natural stone tiles.
The product ensures the flooring installation and the waterproofing on cracked and not perfectly cured substrates and therefore with possible vapor pressure
also old tiles.
