Description
PROMATECT®-250 is an A1 non-combustible mineral bound lightweight calcium silicate board, for internal use in structural steelwork protection and mezzanine floor systems. A third party EN certified solution which maintains the loadbearing capacity of structural steel for up to 120 minutes.
Features and benefits:
- Fire resistant: A1 non-combustible board to EN 13501-1.
- Frameless fix.
- Third-party certified: EN tested and classified to achieve 120 minutes fire protection to EN 13501-2.
- This system can provide protection to limiting steel temperatures between 350°C to 750°C.
- Smooth matt upper surface, off-white in colour. Can be easily decorated if required.
- Provides a high degree of strength and dimensional stability.
- Board to board fixing, for faster installation whilst maximising useable space in the building.

Warranty description | Manufacturer guidanceEtex Building Performance Limited warrants that its passive fire protection products and component parts, when installed in the building originally designed, built and unaltered in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out in Promat Passive Fire Protection Handbook, this specification document and associated CAD drawings; and any specific technical recommendations made in relation to the above project, shall be durable and free from defects due to faulty manufacturing or factory workmanship. The system must be installed solely with proprietary products and components as supplied by Etex Building Performance Limited. The scope of this warranty is subject to and will be dependent on the application and the environment in which the products are being installed. |
